Privacy notice

Who we are

WedMyLove (“we”, “us”) decides how your personal data is used, which makes us the “Data Fiduciary” under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Our Contact page says who runs WedMyLove.

What we collect

• When you order on WhatsApp: your name and number as WhatsApp shows them to us, and what you send us. That is usually the names of the couple and their families, event dates, times and venues, the wording for your film and any music, and, for a design with photo frames, any photos you’d like in it.
• When you pay: the amount, the date, the UPI reference and the payer name your UPI app shows us. We never see your UPI PIN or bank login.
• When you browse this website: you don’t need an account, and there are no forms. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don’t track you across other websites. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn’t identify you: it shows us totals such as which pages are viewed, which website you came from, your country, and your type of device and browser. Tapping Order on WhatsApp opens WhatsApp with a message naming the design and the page you tapped it on; nothing is sent until you send it.

Why we use it

To make and deliver your film, to talk to you about your order, changes and support, to keep the payment records that tax law requires, and to handle complaints. We don’t sell your data, use it for advertising, or send you marketing messages.

People named in your invitation

Invitations name other people, such as family members and sometimes children, and photos show them. Please send us only details and photos you are allowed to share, and for children, with a parent’s or guardian’s permission. We use these details and photos only to make your film.

Who else handles it

• WhatsApp (Meta) carries our chats and files. Chats with us are end-to-end encrypted.
• Google Drive or iCloud stores our WhatsApp chat backup, which is end-to-end encrypted.
• Cloudflare hosts this website and the sample films, and counts visits for us without cookies (Cloudflare Web Analytics). It processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site and keep it secure.
• Your bank or UPI app processes your payment.

We make films on our own computer and don’t upload your wording, music or photos to any other service. Some of the providers above may store data outside India.

How long we keep it

We keep your wording, music, photos, finished film and our chat for 30 days after delivery, so we can make changes or send your film again. Then we delete them from our phone and computer, and they leave our chat backup when it next updates. We keep payment records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. If you’d like us to delete your details sooner, just ask; we will, unless the law requires us to keep them.

Keeping it safe

Your details stay on our own devices, which are protected by passwords and PINs, and we share them only as described here.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct, complete or delete it. You can withdraw your consent at any time, which means we stop work on any order that needs it. You can also nominate someone to use these rights for you if you can’t. Ask us on WhatsApp at +91 78429 47640 or by email at support@wedmylove.com. We acknowledge requests within 48 hours and respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Changes to this notice

If we change this notice, we update it here and change the date at the top of this page.
