Dark patterns self-audit
Dark patterns are design tricks that push people into buying. India’s Central Consumer Protection Authority lists 13 of them, and every year we check this website and the way we take orders on WhatsApp against each one.

Our certificate
We certify that on 16 October 2026 we audited this website and our WhatsApp ordering, including our standard replies, against the 13 dark patterns specified in the Guidelines for Prevention and Regulation of Dark Patterns, 2023, and found that they use none of them.

What we checked
- False urgency. No countdowns, “only a few left” or “others are looking at this”. Every design is made to order and never runs out.
- Basket sneaking. Nothing is added to your order. You pay the price we confirm in the chat, with no charges on top.
- Confirm shaming. No guilt or pressure if you say no: stop after your free preview and you owe nothing.
- Forced action. No account, app, newsletter or sign-up. We ask only for the details your film needs.
- Subscription trap. No subscriptions. Each order is paid once, by UPI, after you approve your preview.
- Interface interference. Nothing pops up unasked, and every button does what it says. Each design’s page shows its price, and every page links to these policies.
- Bait and switch. The design you choose is the design you get. Samples use fictional names; your film carries your words.
- Drip pricing. The price on a design’s page is the price you pay. Extras are made only if you ask for them, at a price we tell you first.
- Disguised advertisement. No ads, sponsored listings or reviews, and nothing dressed up as news or a customer’s post.
- Nagging. No repeated requests to install an app, turn on notifications, accept cookies or share your number.
- Trick question. No forms, tick boxes or double negatives. You tell us what you want in your own words, in the chat.
- SaaS billing. No recurring payments: we never debit you automatically.
- Rogue malware. No ads or downloads on this site. The only files we send you are your preview and your film, as MP4 videos.
